Chalk the walk ARTsplosion |

All artists and “wanna-be” artists are invited to the First Annual Chalk the Walk ARTsplosion, where participants are encouraged to decorate the Virginia Beach boardwalk with 4 X 4 foot chalk drawings. Age and skill divisions divide artists into appropriate groups for competition purposes. Cash prizes and trophies are awarded the winners. Even the audience gets in on the act when they get to vote on the “Best of the Boardwalk!” Various arts and crafts vendors, and good food are part of the artist “village” set up right on the boardwalk, promising fun for all ages! This is a free event. |
